These posters feature hand-drawn palm trees that are native to the continent of Africa. It is a collection of plants from the dryer north and south of Africa to the sub-tropical and tropical middle. Featured are also some rarer palms that are found only on some bigger (e.g. Madagascar) or smaller (e.g. Seychelles) islands.

The palms were chosen by their appearance rather than botanical importance. So the list is by no means conclusive. All palms come with scientific and common names. Everything is to scale (1:100).
