    Comprising a select club of large, long-legged birds, Ratites include some of the world's most iconic and peculiar avian inhabitants. Imagine towering emus sprinting across the Australian outback or the ancient, enigmatic cassowary with its striking blue skin and dinosaur-like demeanour lurking in the rainforests of northern Australia and New Guinea. Venture further into the land of Ratites, and you'll encounter the stately ostrich, Earth's largest and fastest-running bird, gallivanting across the African savannah like a relic from a prehistoric era.

    Yet, the Ratite family doesn't stop at these renowned members. There's also the resilient rhea of South America and the flightless kiwi with its endearing quirkiness in New Zealand's forests. Each Ratite species boasts its own unique charm, revealing a fascinating tapestry of adaptations, behaviours, and ecological niches that have arisen throughout their evolutionary journey.

    The wooden frames are produced from natural pine wood.

    The poster is ready-to-hang as the poster is delivered within the frame. It is ready to be hung directly on the wall!

    • They are 20-25mm /0.79"-0.98" thick and 10-14mm /0.4"-0.6" wide.
    • To keep your poster looking its best, we use shatterproof, transparent plexiglass to protect it from damage.
    • We include hanging hardware with every order, making it easy to hang the frame in both horizontal and vertical orientations.
    • We use FSC-certified paper and frame or equivalent certifications depending on regional availability.

    Note

    Please note that all our frames have clear plexiglass. This is covered by a protective film to secure quality and in some cases. The protective film can be peeled off. 

    There's no option to choose a specific wood. 

    Please note that the mock-ups in the Product Catalog are indicative. Not all frames on the photos are available. Frames may slightly differ depending on suppliers and materials between regions. The stock in North America is not fully matte-coated and the grain is visible.

    The wooden products may be made of different types of wood, based on local availability in the region of production. The goal is to use material sourced from as close as possible to reduce shipping distances.

       

      We use FSC-certified paper or equivalent certifications depending on regional availability.

      Paper sizes may vary slightly by region. For the US and Canada, the measurement is in inches, while for the rest of the world, it is in centimetres.

      Museum-quality poster made on thick and long-lasting matte (uncoated) paper. It has a natural, smooth uncoated finish that feels luxurious to the touch.

      Archival Paper

      Museum-quality poster made on long-lasting matte (uncoated) archival paper. This poster paper is more yellowish (off-white) as no optical brighteners are used during production
