There are two distinct groups in this family, old-world Camels (Africa/Asia), and new-world Camels (South America). Camelids actually first appeared in North America and then moved to South America and Asia.
Of the humped Camelids living in Asia/Africa, around 94% are dromedary! Sadly the wild Bactrian Camel (C. ferus) is critically endangered.
Alpaca and Llama are the domesticated forms of the Vicuña and the Guanaco. They don't have humps and their feet are adapted to the rocky terrain of the Andes.
The wooden frames are produced from natural pine wood.
The poster is ready-to-hang as the poster is delivered within the frame. It is ready to be hung directly on the wall!
Note
Please note that all our frames have clear plexiglass. This is covered by a protective film to secure quality and in some cases. The protective film can be peeled off.
There's no option to choose a specific wood.
Please note that the mock-ups in the Product Catalog are indicative. Not all frames on the photos are available. Frames may slightly differ depending on suppliers and materials between regions. The stock in North America is not fully matte-coated and the grain is visible.
The wooden products may be made of different types of wood, based on local availability in the region of production. The goal is to use material sourced from as close as possible to reduce shipping distances.
We use FSC-certified paper or equivalent certifications depending on regional availability.
Paper sizes may vary slightly by region. For the US and Canada, the measurement is in inches, while for the rest of the world, it is in centimetres.
For indoor use.
