This poster shows the relation between the species and their scientific and English names. Scale 1:20. It is a print of ink drawings. All are hand-drawn.

Frame options are available and are ready to hang. No assembly is needed.

Now here’s an interesting fact: all the animals on this poster are related. The Elephants and Sirens are closest, followed by the Hyraxes. The name Paenungulata translated means “almost having hooves“because they were once thought to be closely related to the hoofed animals. Which they are not.

But they belong to the bigger group of Afrotheria (all of African origin), another collection of fantastic and unique animals!

The wooden frames are produced from natural pine wood.

The poster is ready-to-hang as the poster is delivered within the frame. It is ready to be hung directly on the wall!

  • They are 20-25mm /0.79"-0.98" thick and 10-14mm /0.4"-0.6" wide.
  • To keep your poster looking its best, we use shatterproof, transparent plexiglass to protect it from damage.
  • We include hanging hardware with every order, making it easy to hang the frame in both horizontal and vertical orientations.
  • We use FSC-certified paper and frame or equivalent certifications depending on regional availability.

Please note that all our frames have clear plexiglass. This is covered by a protective film to secure quality and in some cases. The protective film can be peeled off. 

There's no option to choose a specific wood.
