The frames arrive already assembled and ready to be hung!

This is the order of the so-called “Odd-toed ungulates“. All members walk on either three toes (Rhinoceroses, Tapirs), or just one (Horses, Donkeys/Asses and Zebras). Also, the digestion of food happens in the intestines, rather than in a complex stomach, like the even-toed ungulates.

Sadly most of the species are also in danger of going extinct, some always had low numbers and small ranges (like the African wild ass), some suffer decline because of poaching and/or habitat loss. Another problem is interbreeding with domesticated relatives.

The wooden frames are produced from natural pine wood.

The poster is ready-to-hang as the poster is delivered within the frame. It is ready to be hung directly on the wall!

  • They are 20-25mm /0.79"-0.98" thick and 10-14mm /0.4"-0.6" wide.
  • To keep your poster looking its best, we use shatterproof, transparent plexiglass to protect it from damage.
  • We include hanging hardware with every order, making it easy to hang the frame in both horizontal and vertical orientations.
  • We use FSC-certified paper and frame or equivalent certifications depending on regional availability.
  • For indoor use.

Note

Please note that all our frames have clear plexiglass. This is covered by a protective film to secure quality and in some cases. The protective film can be peeled off. 

There's no option to choose a specific wood. 

Please note that the mock-ups in the Product Catalog are indicative. Not all frames on the photos are available. Frames may slightly differ depending on suppliers and materials between regions. The stock in North America is not fully matte-coated and the grain is visible.

The wooden products may be made of different types of wood, based on local availability in the region of production. The goal is to use material sourced from as close as possible to reduce shipping distances.

     

    We use FSC-certified paper or equivalent certifications depending on regional availability.

    Paper sizes may vary slightly by region. For the US and Canada, the measurement is in inches, while for the rest of the world, it is in centimetres.

    Museum-quality poster made on long-lasting matte (uncoated) archival paper. This poster paper is more yellowish (off-white) as no optical brighteners are used during production
